I’ve been volunteering with Docip for over 10 years, and it’s been truly life-changing. Aside from having the privilege of meeting and working with many wonderful people over the years, my perspective on the world has changed based on what I’ve learned from Indigenous Peoples and their work at the U.N. Also, they’ve taught me that, no matter how difficult the challenges faced, it’s important to take time to celebrate the beauty and sacredness of life and, yes, have fun too.
