This Summary presents the discussions held, in person and online, during the 16th session of the EMRIP, July 17 to 21, 2023.

INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
2024-11-25 - 2024-11-25Docip has the pleasure to inform you on the Forty-First session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC), which will be held at the headquarters of WIPO in Geneva,from March 16 - 20, 2020.
The Indigenous Peoples' Preparatory Meeting will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2020 (for further information please contact Johanna Massa: johanna.massa(at)docip.org).
There will be daily meetings of the Indigenous Peoples' Caucus: 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM (tbc)
The Panel of Indigenous and Local Communities will take place on Monday, March 16, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The theme of the panel at the Forty-First Session is: “Intellectual Property and Utilization of Genetic Resources: Indigenous Peoples’ and Local Communities’ Perspective”.
