This Summary presents the discussions held, in person and online, during the 16th session of the EMRIP, July 17 to 21, 2023.

INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN
2024-11-25 - 2024-11-25Docip has the pleasure to inform you on the 39th session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC), which will be held at the headquarters of WIPO in Geneva,from March 18 - 22, 2019.
The Indigenous Peoples' Preparatory Meeting will take place on Sunday, March 17, 2019, 1:00 - 6:30 PM at "La Pastorale", Maison rose, 106, route de Ferney, Geneva (Bus 5 – Intercontinental stop). There will be daily meetings of the Indigenous Peoples' Caucus (Blue Room): 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM (tbc)
The Panel of Indigenous and Local Communities will take place on Monday, March 18, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The theme of the panel at the Thirty-Ninth Session is: “Draft Articles on Intellectual Property and Traditional Knowledge/Traditional Cultural Expressions: Indigenous Peoples’ and Local Communities’ Perspectives on Subject Matter and Scope of Protection”.
