Information on the 34th session of the IGC (WIPO)

Docip has the pleasure to inform you on the 34th session of the Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC), which will be held at the headquarters of WIPO in Geneva, from June 12 to 16, 2017.

Indigenous Consultative Forum (ICF)

The ICF will take place in the Uchtenhagen Room, WIPO Headquarters (AB Building), Geneva on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Panel of Indigenous and Local Communities

The Panel of Indigenous and Local Communities will take place on Monday, June 12, from 11:15 am to 12:30 pm. The theme of the panel at the Thirty-Fourth Session is:“Outstanding/Pending Issues in
the IGC Draft Articles on the Protection of Traditional Cultural Expressions: Indigenous Peoples’ and Local Communities’ Perspectives”.
