This Summary presents the discussions held, in person and online, during the 16th session of the EMRIP, July 17 to 21, 2023.

Docip has the pleasure to forward you the Zero Draft of the Resolution on Human Rights and Indigenous Peoples for the 45th session of the Human Rights Council. The resolution is coordinated by the Permanent Missions of Mexico and Guatemala. They accept written comments until Friday, September 11, 2020 and will distribute the 1st revision together with a matrix with all comments and text proposals on September 15. There will be an informal meeting with State Parties in Geneva on September 16. An informal online meeting with Indigenous Peoples Organizations is planned for September 17 (tbc).

Docip will provide an unofficial Spanish translation of the Zero Draft Resolution as soon as possible on our website.
