SEASON'S GREETING
Dear friends of Docip,
We are pleased to present our last weekly newsletter for the year 2020.
The Covid-19 pandemic and climate change have been the major challenges of the year and have required a lot of flexibility and new solutions from all of us. They will surely continue to harass us next year. Indigenous peoples have been among the most affected by the pandemic and climate disasters, but they have also been the most resilient. Rebuilding better, fighting deforestation, reversing climate change, nothing is possible without the participation of indigenous peoples.
Our role at Docip is to support indigenous peoples for their participation to be effective and successful. We continued fulfilling this role as best we could during the pandemic and we are ready to pursue in 2021 with all our strength and devotion to the cause.
As the end of year approaches, the Docip team wishes you wonderful days filled with joy and peace and a very good start to 2021: may all your projects bear fruit.
The Docip office will be closed between December 19, 2020 and January 3, 2021. We will continue to publish our messages and reminders on our Facebook page and Twitter account. Please address any urgent messages to secretariat(at)docip.org.
Our next weekly newsletter will be published on January 15, 2021.
We sincerely thank you for your support in 2020, and we look forward to continuing to move forward with you in 2021!
Warm wishes,
The Docip team
